We recommend creating your artwork in design software such as: Adobe Illustrator, Indesign or Photoshop. We prefer high resolution pdf’s, with fonts outlined and images embedded. Any artwork containing vector or Illustrator ‘Live Trace’ content should be supplied in .EPS or .AI format. Please avoid linking to layered .TIF or .PSD files. Please do not use transparency or effects interacting with objects using PMS colours.

SCALE

Large format (over 2 metres) is to be set up at 1:10 scale, images supplied in CMYK at 300DPI @100%. Please allow 100mm bleed at finished size scaled to proportions.

Small / medium format (under 2 metres – eg Posters and safety signs) Set up at 1:1 scale with images supplied in CMYK at 300 DPI. Please allow 5 – 10mm bleed.

FONTS AND COLOURS

Ensure all fonts are converted to outlines. PDF’s should use CMYK unless using PMS colours which are to be supplied as Spot colours.
Please note, while we make every effort to colour match, Pantone colours will be matched to our printers closest CMYK equivalent, some variation is to be expected.
